Apple Silicon and macOS 15 or later

The current native build is compiled for Apple Silicon. An Intel build is not included in this release. Check your Mac's chip and installed macOS version before comparing it with the stated target; the computer's purchase year alone does not describe its configuration.

Actual unlock testing still needs to cover specific hardware and macOS versions. A newer operating-system version can meet the minimum requirement without having passed those tests. No complete supported-device matrix or guaranteed compatibility claim is published for the preview.

A usable camera and a clear view

Lunlo needs camera frames for enrollment and recognition. The intended setup includes selecting an available camera in the app, checking the image and evaluating your normal seating position and lighting. A camera appearing in a device list does not establish that its recognition performance is suitable.

Built-in and external camera arrangements require their own testing; there is no verified camera-model list yet. The recognition pipeline uses ordinary RGB images, not Face ID depth sensing. More detail is in the camera recognition guide.

Permissions, local authorization and online access

The app needs Camera access to read images and Accessibility access to submit the saved password. The optional Space-key trigger checks keyboard-listening access; a separate Input Monitoring entry may not appear when Accessibility already satisfies it. Apple provides separate controls for camera access and Accessibility access; granting one does not complete Lunlo's other setup steps.

A future configured release also needs an authorized local vault session and a current online membership check. A compatible Mac without available account services will still be unable to perform a face-unlock attempt.

An existing locked session is the intended case

Lunlo is designed to run inside an already signed-in user session and submit a locally stored password to its lock screen. It does not support FileVault/pre-boot login, the first login after a restart, or a logged-out session. It cannot supply access when the app is not running in the required session.

Normal password entry remains the fallback. Use the setup guide to understand the intended preparation, and check release status before expecting an installer or working account flow. Real camera, permission and unlock validation remains outstanding.
